In a rain shortened first game of the season, Ace
Homes jumped out to an early 8-1 lead and held
off a great comeback attempt by Knights of
Columbus. Asa Connell pitched 3 strong innings
and Chris Thompson pitched a tense 5th inning for
the save. Nick Biasetti and Elliott Hungerford
had big hits in the 6 run first inning as Ace
Homes batted around.
Harrison Kovachick pitched two strong innings in
relief to allow K of C to make a run. Ryan
Czarnecki had 2 RBIs for K of C.

Kiwanis 1

Turner Construction Company beat Kiwanis 5-1 in a
well played game by both teams. For Turner
Construction Company Jack Martin had a single and
a run scored. Jack Bloem reached base twice and
scored a run. Trevor LiCalzi, Joe Ryan and Cam
D'Aloia drove in runs. Jake Fauler and Zach
Kircher pitched three innings each. Max Liebers
had single and made a great defensive play at
third for Kiwanis. Luke Wurl played a great
second base to keep Kiwanis close.

PBA 3

Behind a 1 hit pitching performance by Quinn
Beckwith and Brendan Coffey, Kiwanis defeated
PBA, 6-3. Beckwith added three singles at the
plate, while Coffey and Ian Frey had a double and
single each to lead the Kiwanis offense. Frank
Malventano had a double and run scored for PBA.

New Country 1

Brandon Hipsley had a solo hr and a double while
Joe Schmidt had a double and a single to lead the
offensive attack for Christopher Dailey
Foundation. Matt Davis, Schmidt and Hipsley
pitched well and scattered three hit over 6
innings. New Country was led by solid pitching
from Drew Patterson and Nolan Hagen. Austin
Patterson played great defensively.

Knights of Columbus 2

Ace Homes won a close game in which pitching
dominated. Ace Homes used 5 pitchers -Jack
Rittenhouse, Max Poppel, Asa Connell, Chris
Thompson, and Colin Bradley - to limit K of C to
2 hits while the offense was lead by Asa Connell
and Elliott Hungerford with 2 and 1 RBI
respectively. K of C pitching was up to the
challenge with Patrick Claire and Nick Kondo
putting up strong performances. K of C loaded
the bases in the bottom of the 6th but their
hopes were ended with a close play at the plate
for the final out.

Kiwanis 3

Ryan Czarnecki pitched 5 1/3 innings for the
victory. Harrison Kovachick pitched in the sixth
to get the final two outs of the game. Connor
Skeels and Harrison Kovachick both went 2-4. Ryan
Ruschak had a double with two RBI's. For Kiwanis
Sam Kennedy made his first start of the season
allowing only one run with three strike outs. Ian
Frey had single and a double in the loss.

Christopher Dailey Foundation 7

Stephen Klimek's 6th inning bunt single and
eventual steal of home proved to be the deciding
run as Turner Construction Company defeated
Christopher Dailey Foundation 8-7. For Turner,
Trevor LiCalzi tripled, walked and scored a run.
Jack Martin had two singles, Jack Bloem walked,
doubled and scored a run. Pitcher Jacob Yarinsky
got the final two outs in the bottom of the 6th
to preserve the win. For Christopher Dailey
Foundation Matt Davis pitched two very strong
innings and hit a double, while Joe Schmidt hit a
single.

PBA 3

Ace Home won their 3rd game in a row with strong
pitching from Max Poppel, Jack Rittenhouse, and
Chris Thompson. Paul Butrico had an RBI single,
Matt Biasetti had a double, and Nick Biasetti
came up big defensively for Ace Homes. Riley
Rossi had a big game for PBA going 2 for 3 at the
plate and starting 2 double plays in the late
innings to keep the game close

Ace Homes 5

Jack Jarosz had a key 7th inning hit and came
around to score the winning run as Kiwanis beat
Ace Homes 6-5 in extra innings. Quinn Beckwith,
Max Liebers and Brendan Coffey combined for 12
strikeouts on the mound and Jeremy Stalker had a
deep double to center. Jack Rittenhouse had a
double and a triple and scored twice for Ace
Homes.

Turner Construction Company 5

Solid Hitting by Devin Towne and Matt Eberlein
and a strong performance behind
the plate from Spencer Wagner, helped New Country
rally from a tie in the sixth inning to defeat
Turner Construction 7 - 5. Zach Kircher recorded
seven K's and Jake Fauler had three RBI's for
Turner.

driving in 3 runs. Shane Barringer had a double
and scored a run for PBA and Jake House hit a
triple scoring two runs

Griffin Clancy went 3 for 4 with 2 singles a
double and 5 RBI's to help New Country to a 13-3
win. Nolan Hagen fanned 6 in 5 solid innings on
the mound and Brian Shilstone turned in a strong
offensive performance .

Asa Connell ( Ace Homes) won a classic pitching
duel with Drew Patterson (New Country). Both
pitchers threw 1 hitters with Connell striking
out 13 and Patterson 10. Colin Bradley of Ace
Homes provided the offense with a solo home run
in the 2nd inning.

Max Poppel pitched 4 shutout innings and Elliott
Hungerford finished the game with 2 strong
innings for Ace Homes. Great defense by Ace
Homes with Anthony Acevedo making a great catch.
Matt Triola, in his first game in the majors had
a double and 2 RBIs. Will Hollyer had several
great catches for Chris Dailey Foundation.

For Turner Construction, pitcher Zach Kircher
didn't allow a hit until the 6th inning, and he
hit a triple, single and walked twice in leading
Turner to the win. Trevor LiCalzi hit two
singles and scored a run. Grant Burns walked
twice and scored a run. For PBA, Shane Barringer
hit a single and Frankie Malventano hit a double
and played great at catcher.

Brandon Hipsley blasted a three run homer and
Chris Byno squeezed in the winning run in extra
innings as Christopher Dailey Foundation nipped
the Knights of Columbus. Sean Greco pitched four
shut out innings for the win. For Knights of
Columbus, Ryan Ruschak had a double and Nick
Kondo made several stellar plays in the field.

Zach Kircher hit three home-runs, including a
grand slam and finished 4-for-4 at the plate
leading Turner Construction to the win. Jake
Fauler (double) had three hits. Jack Martin,
Stephen Klimek, Jack Bloem (triple) and Grant
Burns each had two hits. For the Knights of
Columbus Connor Skeels had a double, single, walk
and scored three runs. Trae Dussault pitched
great in relief.

Tommy Conboy hit his first home of the season,
Brian Shilstone had a double and a single and
Drew Patterson threw 8 strike outs in 4 innings
to help lead New Country in a 10-4 win over
Kiwanis Wednesday night. For Kiwanis, Luke Wurl
had a double to the fence and several great plays
in the field. Brendan Coffey pitched two strong
innings and had an RBI single.

Thursday night Devin Towne pitched 5 solid
innings recording 7 strike outs.
Kevin Shilstone had a good game with the bat and
Griffin Clancy played a great game at 1st base as
New Country beat Ace Homes 7-4. Asa Connell went
3 for 4 and Colin Bradley went 2 for 3 for Ace
Homes.

Ace Homes 5

PBA won their first game of the season beating
Ace Homes 7-5. PBA starting pitcher John Cahill
pitched well and got an early lead by Frankie
Malventano's (2) singles knocking in two runs
and scoring one. Riley Rossi hit a 2-run homerun
knocking in Rory Flaherty, and Scotty Parillo
added 2 singles. Ace homes made a late charge
with Max Poppel 's 2 singles and 2 runs scored
while Elliot Hungerford added a hit. PBA's
relief pitching by Scotty Parillo and Rory
Flaherty closed the door late in the game. Ace
homes starting pitcher was Max Poppel, with
Elliot Hungerford and Chris Thompson in relief.

Brandon Hipsley and Chris Byno homered back to
back Devon Caine and Ryan Hogan had a couple of
hits each to lead Christopher Dailey over
Kiwanis. Brandon Delorian had a double. Liam
Gibney had an RBI double for Kiwanis.

Chris Byno collected 3 hits Joe Schmitdt had a
double and shared the mound with Sean Grecco for
the win. For Kiwanis Brendan Coffey pitched 3
strong innings and collected a hit and Joey
Martinez lined a double for a big hit.

PBA 5

The Knights of Columbus beat PBA 8-5. Ryan
Czarnecki pitched 5 1/3 innings for the victory.
Nick Kondo came in to finish the game and get the
final two outs. Ryan Czarnecki also went 2-4 at
the plate with two doubles and four RBI's.
Harrison Kovachick also had a first inning triple
to lead off the game for the Knights of Columbus.
Trae Dussault also caught all six innings behind
the plate and made some great saves. For PBA,
Rory Flaherty pitched five good innings and left
the game with the score tied at five. Riley
Rossi had two doubles and two RBI's. Jake House
also walk twice and scored two runs for PBA.

Nolan Hagen and Spencer Wagner pitched great for
New Country, as New Country defeated Turner
Construction 4-3. Garrett Brennan an Alex Skaine
played great in their first game in the majors
division. Garrett played great defensively and
contributed with a hit. Alex played great
defensively and swung the bat well.
For Turner Cam D'Aloia went 2 for 3 with a double
and Zach Kircher pitcher 4 innings striking out
7.

Ace Home pitching combo of Asa Connell, Chris
Thompson, and Elliott Hungerford kept Turner
Construction in check as their offense came
alive. Max Poppel went 4 for 4 and scored 3
runs. Asa Connell was 3 for 4 with a 3-run
homer. Matt Biasetti also went 2 for 3 with 2
runs scored. Trevor LiCalzi had a double and 2
RBIs for Turner Construction.

New Country's bats came alive in the 3rd inning
as they scored 7 of their 10 runs to beat The
Knights of Columbus 10 -1. Nolan Hagen had 3
RBI's, Brandon Kapoor and Tommy Conboy each had
two hits and Drew Patterson had another strong
outing on the mound for New Country. Nick Kondo
and Patrick Clare had solid performances for The
Knights of Columbus.

New Country got the bats going Wednesday night
which lead them to a 21-1 victory. Drew Patterson
went 3 for 5 with a Grand Slam while Devin Towne
recorded 8 strikeouts. Griffin Clancy went 3 for
4 with a double and 2 rbi's and
Austin Patterson and Brian Shilstone each had 3
hits. For Christopher Dailey Foundation Sean
Grecco and Chris Byno had great defensive plays.

Turner Construction Company 5

PBA won their second game of the season beating
Turner Construction 6-5. A tough game with many
lead changes PBA scored 2 runs in the top of the
first only to see Turner bounce right back and
score 2 in the bottom of the first. PBA starting
pitcher John Cahill pitched well and Rory
Flaherty pitched in relief. Turner construction
took a 4-2 lead with help from Jake Fauler's 1
hit , 2 runs scored and Jack Martin's 2 hit, 2
runs scored. Zach Kircher added 1 run scored and
2 singles, while Trevor Licalzi and Stephen
Klimek added hits. PBA hitting was lead by Rory
Flaherty and John Cahil's doubles and PBA took
the lead in the 5th inning with runs scored by
Jake House and Kyle Darby. Rory Flaherty and
Frankie Malventano scored the game tieing and
winning runs in the top of the 6th inning.
Turner threatened again in the bottom of the 6th
but Rory Flaherty pitched out of a jam with men
on base to close the door. Turner's starting
pitcher Zach Kircher and relief pitcher Jake
Fauler pitched well.

Austin Patterson and Nolan Hagan had 3 hits,
Griffin Clancy had 2 hits and 4 RBI's
and Brandon Kapoor had 2 hits Saturday to lead
New Country to a 11-2 win.
Steve Foley, Frank Malventano and Kyle Darby
recorded solid performances both
on the mound and at bat for PBA.

Ryan Czarnecki pitched four innings only giving
up two runs for the win. Nick Kondo came in and
pitched the final two innings for the Knights of
Columbus. Harrison Kovachick went 2-4 with a
double and a triple. Kyle Tiersch had a RBI
single and scored two runs for the Knights of
Columbus. Kiwanis was led by Jack Jarosz who had
two key hits and a stolen base to keep Kiwanis
close. Jermy Stalker had a rbi single as well.

Chris Byno hit two home runs, and Matt Davis and
Karl Shreck combined to pitch a strong game for
Christopher Dailey Foundation in a 11 to 7 win..

Christopher Dailey Foundation 5

PBA had the early lead at 2-1 when in the bottom
of the 3rd inning Sean Greco's single knocked in
two runs. Christopher Dailey's 3-2 lead did not
last long, as Frank Malventano scored in the 4th
to tie the game at 3-3. The tie score stood
until the top of the fifth when Ross Kowalewski
started the inning off with a single fly ball to
right field, Rory Flaherty walked and Riley Rossi
hit a 3 run home run to take a 6-3 lead. C.
Dailey threatened in the in the bottom of the 6th
when Brandon Kapoor's lead-off single and 2
subsequent walks loaded the bases. Chris Byno
ripped a single knocking in 2 runs making it 6-
5. Rory Flaherty who was already pitching in
relief for John Cahill closed the inning by
striking out two of the next three batters.
Christopher Dailey's 6 hits were lead by Chris
Byno's 2 singles, Matt Davis's double and singles
added by Joe Schmidt, Sean Greco, Hunter Johns
and Brandon Kapoor.

Ace Homes came from behind twice and pulled out
an extra inning win against Kiwanis. Max Poppel
pitched 5 solid innings and went 2 for 4 at the
plate for Ace Homes. Jack Rittenhouse went 3 for
4 and pitched 2 shutout innings to close the
game. Asa Connell added another 3 run homer for
Ace Homes.
Quinn Beckwith and Brendan Coffey each went 2 for
3 and scored 2 runs each for Kiwanis.

Kiwanis 3

Pba's John Cahill pitched a complete game
allowing 3 runs on 3 hits and catching duties
were done by both Frank Malventano and Jake
House. Kiwanis' Liam Gibney and Luke Wurl hit
doubles with Joe Martinez added a single in the
6th inning. Kiwanis scored 2 runs in the 6th and
threatened with bases loaded when joe Kolbe hit a
fly ball to right field that PBA's Kyle Darby
caught for the last out of the game. Pitching
for Kiwanis was Sam Kennedy, Liam Gibney and
Brendan Coffey. PBA's 10 hits included Shane
Barringer (double & single), Rory Flaherty(two
singles), John Cahil (two singles), and singles
added by Jake House, Scotty Parillo and Stephen
Foley. Riley Rossi, John Cahill and Frank
Malventano each scored two runs each.

Turner Construction Company 4

Knights of Columbus won the game 11-4. Connor
Skeels pitched 4 1/3 innings while only giving up
3 runs for the victory. Patrick Clare and Chris
Brewer both had RBI singles for the Knights of
Columbus. For Turner Construction, Zach Kircher
went 2-4 with a home run and a line drive single
up the middle. His 4th home run against the
Knights of Columbus this year. Jack Martin made a
great play at short with a line drive hit by Ryan
Ruschak.

Devin Towne threw 12 K's and Drew Patterson went
3 for 3 with 3 RBI's Tuesday night to help their
team New Country to a 9-3 victory over CDF. Joe
Schmidt had 6 strike outs in 3 innings on the
mound for CDF.

For Turner Jake Fauler pitched four innings
striking out eight batters. Trevor LiCalzi
pitched the final two innings allowing one hit
and striking out four. Jack Martin hit a double,
a single and scored a run. Cam D'Alioa had two
singles. Stephen Klimek had a single, walk, a
run scored and made a great diving catch in
center field. For Ace Homes Asa Connell struck
out eight in four innings pitched, Max Poppel had
a double, walk and run scored. Elliot Hungerford
hit a double.

Ace Homes 11

Chris Thompson and Elliott Hungerford combined
pitched 6 strong innings for Ace Homes. Matt
Biasetti went 2 for 3 and made several great
defensive plays at 2nd base. Max Poppel also
played a great defensive game with several
put-outs.
Franky Malventano kept the game close early with
a bases clearing double and 3 RBIs for PBA.

New Country 18

New country got the bats going in the first
inning as Drew Patterson and Griffin Clancy each
hit home runs. Patterson had a solo and Clancy
had a 3 run homer.
Patterson Finished the day going 4 for 5 hitting
for the cycle. All of New Country 's players
reached base and crossed home plate. For Kiwanis
Max Liebers had 2 hits and Joe Kolby, Jack
Jarosz, Liam Gibney, Luke Wurl and Joe Martinez
all reached base safely.

In a game that was decided in the top of the 6th,
Karl Schreck made a great throw to Hunter Johns
for the tag out at home for the final out. Both
teams played well and the lead changed hands many
times and could have gone either way.

pitched a good game. For Kiwanis Jeremy Stalker
had two singles and a run scored, Liam Gibney had
a single and a run scored, and Brendan Coffey
walked twice and scored a run. Quinn Beckwith
pitched 5 strong innings for Kiwanis.

In the second well played game of the evening
between Kiwanis and Turner Construction Company,
Turner broke a 2-2 tie by scoring in the last
inning. Jack Martin's bases loaded double scored
three runs. Gabe Yarinsky hit a double. Grant
Burns walked twice. Joe Payne singled and
walked. Trevor LiCalzi and Jake Fauler pitched a
good game.
For Kiwanis Brendan Coffey hit two singles and
Jack Jarosz hit a single and scored a run. Joe
Kolbe pitched a good game, including escaping
from a bases loaded no out jam in the 3rd inning
with out giving up a run.

Turner Construction Company 2

In a close and well played game by both teams,
Turner kicked off the SALL majors division 2009
playoffs by scoring two runs in the bottom of the
sixth inning for the win. For Turner, Jacob
Yarinsky led off the bottom of the sixth with a
line drive triple to left field. Stephen Klimek
singled Jacob Yarinsky home with the tying run.
Zach Kircher later singled to drive in Stephen
Klimek with the winning run.
For Knights of Columbus, Connor Skeels and Nick
Kondo both singled. Patrick Clair walked twice
and scored a run. Ryan Czarnicki pitched well,
striking out seven and allowing no runs in five
innings.

Ace Homes 0

In a well played pitchers dual, Kiwanis defeated
Ace Homes 4-0. Quinn Beckwith matched Asa
Connell's 14 strikeout performance with a one
hit, 6 strikeout effort. Sam Kennedy had the
game winning RBI with a two out triple in the 5th
inning. Brendan Coffey had a triple and run
scored in the 6th and Liam Gibney added a double,
rbi and run scored. Chris Thompson doubled for
Ace Homes.

With the game tied 6 all, Ryan Hogan got on base
to lead off the bottom half. Brandon Hipsley
sacrificed bunted him to second. Hogan then
scored the winning run on a Chris Byno single and
a close play the plate, sliding under the tag.
Hunter Johns had two key hits to help the CDF
cause. Joe Schmidt and Sean Grecco pitched well
for CDF. PBA was lead by Rory Flaherty with two
hits and a great pitching effort.

In a very well played game by both teams, New
Country won a close one Tuesday night over Turner
Construction 7 - 0. There was no score after two
innings until Kevin Shilstone stole home and the
score was 1-0 New Country after three.
Zach Kircher threw a good game for Turner
striking out ten batters, giving up only three
hits and Jack Bloem hit a double. For the New
Country team Devin Towne threw a complete game
striking out seven allowing only one hit. Brian
Shilstone had two Rbi's, Griffin Clancy and Devin
Towne had two hits each for New Country.

Sam Kennedy had a game winning 2RBI single in a
well played 8 inning game between Kiwanis and K
of C. Quinn Beckwith pitched a fine 5 and 1/3
with 8 stirkes with Liam Gibney picked up the win
in relief. In addition to Kennedy Kiwanis'
offense was led by Joe Kolbe with a double and 2
singles and Ian Frey with 2 singles. For K of C
Ryan Czarnecki homerd, doubled and singled,
Patrick Clare had a single and game tieing bottom
of the 6th rbi double while Ryan Ruschak had 3
singles.

of the fifth inning Griffin Clancy hit a two run
single to tie the game.
Then Nolan Hagen hit a walk off single in the
bottom of the sixth inning Saturday to help his
team
New Country advance with a 6-5 victory over
Christopher Dailey.
Chris Byno Hit A home run Joe Schmidt, Brandon
Hipsley and Hunter Johns all reached base safely
for Christopher Dailey in a well played game by
both teams.
